WTP
was
started in
2009
Our humble beginnings were started in a small office with a sole person on the peak height of the financial crisis. The situation didn’t prevent us from growing a small business with no customers to a decent yearly turnover with a healthy base of new and returning customers. Making solid foundations through the years was a slow and methodical process and it should help to keep the business growing in the years to come.
The basic idea is to make an environment that people are happy to come to work to as well as a welcoming place for customers. Founding a company that respects its employees, customers, partners, and threats each business fairly. A team of people that will help customers to their best abilities and knowledge.
The most important thing is the happiness of our customers!
How did our company grow with time...
After long years of gathering knowledge and experiences in the business market of the local and global economy, we founded the brand WTP and company MINK. The main purpose of the company was and is offering technological solutions.
- advanced HTML and CSS
We started one of our first webshop based on the Magento engine which was the basis of developing the process. We started cooperating with bigger EU companies and offering the market B2B web solutions. This segment turned out will be growing the most over the years.
- MySQL
The quick pace on which the web is developing has given us the opportunity to really offer quality driven websites and webshops that without an exception all offer valuable information, delivered lightning quick to the customers.
After a year of development and testing, we launched our very own webshop under the WTP brand under the domain name wtp.si - WTP Business/Corporate gifts. Managing and administering the webshop offered us insight into what all is really needed when thinking of having an online retail store.
By this time social media became a "must" in the industry. Learning new ways of interacting with customers, what purpose each of the social platforms has and how to successfully tame them, became part of a larger-scale project that is still going on to this day. The evergrowing Facebook page of the WTP brand reached 5.000 followers.

We had a few major projects that took a lot of work and time. We undertook the challenge of arranging some webshops we managed with multilingual support. As our base is in Europe, we had major decisions on which language/market we can focus, which languages/markets are even interesting for us and on what social platforms we will offer what language.
The growth of the company and the turnover led us to new opportunities and partners to work with. After completing a major project involving a webshop with over 25.000 articles in 5 languages we turned our eye to our own selection products and services.
Constantly developing and updating our workflow, automatizations, applications etc with the intention to offer our customers cutting edge technology with good pricing options all over the world.
This year we are developing a new mind-boggling and exciting technology that will help us extend part of our offer. We will keep you updated!

What are our
projects
for the coming
months?
After a refresh of our website, we started focusing on the blog part. The idea is bringing to life a blog with information that would help other businesses with ideas, tutorials and reviews of various processes, programs and hardware. We think that sharing knowledge is very important, so basicly all that we offer as a service we also show on the blog how the processes are done.
This year was and is in the shadow of upgrading Magento systems from 1.9.x.x. version to the new 2.x.x. Many online retail store needed to rush with the migration as the end-of-life cycle of Magento 1.9. is already knocking on the back door of the web.
With the addition of our new services (e.g. automatizations), we have also added a vast library of ready to implement templates that our customers can choose from. Both the popular systems Magento and WordPress have now plenty of designs to choose from.
Keep an eye out for interesting blog articles in which you can get good ideas for your business to be more efficient and cheaper. We are looking forward to new ideas and projects for the upcoming season!
